About us
I was born into a family that makes Chinese seasonings.
Growing up, I was surrounded by Chinese flavors. Through everyday sights, smells, and tastes, I developed a deep emotional connection to what we call “Chinese taste.” But I never imagined that one day, I would become a representative of it.
That changed when I went abroad to study.
When I first arrived in the United States, I didn’t know how to cook. My mother worried that I wouldn’t get used to Western food, so she always packed my suitcase with Chinese hot pot soup bases. They carried not only her love, but also my longing for home.
What I missed most was the feeling of hot pot—the steam rising, everyone sitting around the same table, sharing food and warmth. It was something no fast food could ever replace.
Hot pot feels lonely when eaten alone, so I often invited my classmates to my home to eat together. Fresh vegetables, different kinds of meat—everything could go into the pot. It was during those moments that I began to fall in love with cooking.
Hot pot is more than just food.
It is a connection.
It turns strangers into friends and brings people from different cultures together at the same table. I enjoyed talking with my classmates about the differences between Chinese and Western cultures, and gradually, they began to fall in love with this spicy, boiling experience as well. They discovered that “spicy” has many layers, and that “numbing heat” can have depth and balance.
At that moment, I realized—
maybe this is what my generation is meant to do.
As a second-generation successor in a Chinese seasoning family, I don’t want to simply continue a business.
I want to turn Chinese flavors into a language the world can understand, feel, and love.
So I decided to start with hot pot soup base.
To bring the most authentic, passionate, and down-to-earth Chinese flavors overseas.
To let a pot of boiling red broth become the starting point of cultural exchange.
This is not just a business.
It is a legacy—
bringing the taste of home to tables around the world.
